I bought this to read to my Girl Scout Troop, but it ended up being really scary, so I opted not to read it to them. Instead I bought "The Promise" by Nicola Davies. Much more appropriate. I did read it to my 6 year old and she likes it.

I could not find this used so I bought it new. A moral wrapped in a fun easy read. (With a little scariness thrown in too.)

Bought to read to my Daisy Girl Scout Troop but glad I read it first. I was terrified. I think it will be to scary for them. I loved the artwork that is why I got it.
We got this to read to our Girl Scout troop (they are all 5 year olds), so glad we read it before reading it to the girls!! Definitely not age appropriate, they would have been terrified!
